Reconstruction of Roma and Hett Avenues

Reconstruction of Roma and Hett Avenues is to add drainage and alleviate flooding to the nearby residents of New Dorp Beach. The project consists of upgrading the underground facilities and introducing drainage facilities to accommodate the stormwater runoff. We managed the installation of approximately 17,000 Linear Feet of new Water Mains, 11,500 Linear Feet of Storm Sewer including Box Culvert and 17,000 LF of Sanitary Sewer on piles with the use of open cut and pipe jacking techniques. The project consists of extensive dewatering operations with 60’ deep wells. Restoration consists of concrete road base throughout the project limits inclusive of new curbs, sidewalks, bus pads and private property mitigation
